Diane Decauwer
Whether it's the GYLD team, clients, prospects, vendors or
referral sources, Diane's top priority, as part of our Management
Team, is customer service. “It's important for us to
know what we're doing right or how we can continue to dazzle
clients… most businesses don't hear what they're doing
wrong until it's too late.” She adds, “One unique
characteristic GYL Decauwer LLP has over a lot of other businesses
is that we answer all calls; we don't screen them. Callers
are given directly to the person they ask for or to someone
in the firm that can handle the call to their satisfaction.
Clients deserve this type of customer service.” Married
to Dennis Decauwer for over thirty years, she's been a part
of the business since its inception.

Denise O'Keefe
As a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino,
and a CPA candidate, Denise is an accountant in her own right.
She got her start answering phones at GYLDecauwer, working
her way through school until she became an accountant. Today,
she plays a critical role as part of our Managing Team, overseeing
workflow, training employees and coordinating myriad client
tasks. She credits the firm's strong team orientation with
the client satisfaction they're able to deliver. “Our
entire team is extremely hard-working, diligent and, above
all, we genuinely care about our clients.” Denise echoes
the company's credo and explains what drives her team to succeed:
“Without our clients, we're not in business. As a result,
we treat them accordingly - with respect and the highest level
of service possible.”

Derek Williams,
CPA
With over 11 years in the business, Derek is a CPA who enjoys
providing a real service to clients. “Accountants should
be a great resource for a client, not just a necessary evil
at tax time,” he notes. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton,
Derek emphasizes that value is what he and the GYLD team bring
to clients. Time and again he sees clients benefit when accounting
is used to look at the Big Picture “so a company knows
where it stands and is presented with options on how best
to proceed - versus just crunching numbers in hindsight,”
he says. “Using accounting results, we can help improve
a company's financial future.” He notes, “Our
size allows for more personal attention to a client. With
some firms, it's quantity of clients that counts. Here, it's
the amount of service we can provide. It makes a big difference.”
